is an award-winning photojournalist with over 22 years of experience as a staff photographer at such daily newspapers as The San Diego Union-Tribune, The Denver Post, The Boulder Daily Camera, and The Asbury Park Press. She earned a degree in photojournalism at Boston University and was a fellow at The Poynter Institute where she studied video journalism.
has a degree in sociology from the University of Rhode Island and studied visual journalism and documentary filmmaking at The Brooks Institute of Photography. He has won praise for his short documentaries and his most recent work appeared at the Ventura Film Festival.
